To create a profile, sign up or log in to your account, then tap "Create Profile" on the Home page. Fill in your basic information, upload photos, select your interests and categories, and save. Your profile will immediately be visible to other users.

Use clear, recent photos where your face is visible. The first photo should be a good headshot. Additional photos can show you doing your interests or in different settings. Avoid blurry photos, heavy filters, or photos with other people.

Go to Profile > Edit Profile to modify any information. You can update your photos, bio, interests, languages, location, and visibility settings at any time.
Finding & Matching: How does the matching system work?
When you like someone and they like you back, it's a match! You can then start chatting. Each match is category-specific, so you might match with the same person in different categories (Buddy, GymBuddy, etc.).
Finding & Matching: How do I filter profiles?
Use the country, city, language, and interest filters on the Home page to narrow down profiles. You can also toggle "Show only profiles with same interests" to match with people who share your hobbies.
Finding & Matching: What does the block feature do?
Blocking someone hides their profile from you and prevents them from seeing your profile. You can unblock users anytime in Settings > Blocked Users.
Premium: How do I report a profile?
Tap the three dots on a profile card and select "Report". Choose a reason and provide details. Our team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action.
Premium: What is Buddy Premium?
Premium (€7.99/month) unlocks EventBuddy for creating and joining events, up to 10 photos, priority visibility, video/voice calls, and pinning favorite matches.
Premium: Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime in Settings > Premium & Billing. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Events & GymBuddy: What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and European bank transfers (Swedbank, SEB, Deutsche Bank, etc.).
Events & GymBuddy: How do I create an event?
Premium members can create events in the Events tab. Fill in event details, location, date/time, max participants, and description. Other users can request to join and you can approve them.
Events & GymBuddy: How do I join a gym session?
Go to GymBuddy, browse available sessions, and click "Request to Join". The session creator will approve or deny your request. Once approved, you can see their contact details.
Messages & Safety: Can I modify an event after creating it?
Yes, you can edit event details anytime, including date, time, and description. However, changes only apply going forward.
Messages & Safety: How do I chat with matches?
Once you match with someone, go to Messages to start chatting. You can send text messages and, with Premium, photos and videos.
Messages & Safety: Is my location private?
Your exact location is never shared. You only see the city and area (if selected). Detailed location info is only shared when joining events or gym sessions.
Account & Technical: How do I verify my account?
Go to Settings > Verification and upload a selfie holding a piece of paper with your username. Our team reviews this within 24 hours to give you a verification badge.
Account & Technical: What if someone is harassing me?
You can block them immediately (Settings > Blocked Users) and report them using the report feature on their profile. We take all reports seriously.
Account & Technical: Can I use Buddy on multiple devices?
Yes, your account syncs across all devices. Just log in with the same email address.

Use the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen to reset your password via email.

Buddy is available in 30+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Estonian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and many more.
Account & Technical: How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, messages, matches, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
