How does matching work?
Matching happens when two users like each other. Once it’s mutual, messaging is unlocked so you can start chatting.
Is Buddy free to use?
Yes, Buddy is free to use. We also offer a Premium subscription with additional features like increased visibility and more profile options.
How do I start chatting with someone?
You can only chat after both users have liked each other. This ensures conversations are mutual and meaningful.
Can I change my location?
Yes, you can update your location anytime in your profile settings. Buddy only uses your city for matching.
What is GymBuddy?
GymBuddy helps you find workout partners or join gym sessions near you so you never have to train alone.
What is EventBuddy?
EventBuddy lets you create or join local events and meet people who share your interests.
How do I join an event or session?
Simply tap “Request Join” on an event or session. Once accepted (or if it's open), you’ll be added.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account anytime in the app settings. Your data will be permanently removed according to our Privacy Policy.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use industry-standard security and never sell your personal data. You’re always in control of your information.
